About Duke Comprehensive Sickle Cell Center
The Duke University Comprehensive Sickle Cell Center was founded in the late 1970's by Dr. Wendell F. Rosse in order to provide the best possible comprehensive care to patients with sickle cell disease. Directed by Marilyn J. Telen, M.D., it continues to provide both adults and children with comprehensive services, including medical care, social services, psychological support, education and genetic counseling.
